Where there is profit to be made, there are people offering tips and advice on how to maximise your gains. The offerings are particularly vast in this realm. From a standard $40 service per month to a comprehensive $600 trading guide which publishes suggestions each and every day, the market is a lucrative one for the service providers.
But is it profitable for the consumers and the people who are actually using the information to earn money?

Many FX signal services are scams at best. They are run by people who have as much idea as you do about the future movements of the FX markets. Unfortunately, these people have no qualms about charging high prices for their “knowledge” even though in reality the success of the signal service is simply based on luck and chance rather than actual intelligence.
However, in saying that, there are also a number of signal providers which offer a genuine service. These FX signal providers research the markets, stay up to date with what is going on, and then offer genuine trading advice for those who are interested in making money from the market.
So how are you supposed to differentiate the good from the bad? Really, it all comes down to how astute you are as an FX trader.
How to Sort the Good from the Bad?
Whilst it would be impossible to judge every Forex signal providers by their website, there are a number of clear cut giveaways which should send up a red flag when looking for accurate signals. Take a look at this list:

- A “too good to be true” performance record
- Inconsistent profits / trading
- No testimonials or fake testimonials
When it comes to testimonials, this is the area where you are able to pick up on FX trading signal scams the easiest. Usually, scam testimonials are written by the same person, and their writing style completely gives it away. Look for similarities in the writing styles next time you are looking at the reviews section, and if they all look similar – steer clear of that provider.
